Job summary

Qualifications

• Be enthusiastic about working with people with learning disabilities and autism.
• Be caring, sensitive and patient while supporting people to be as independent as possible.
• ICT skills to complete digital record keeping.
• Have effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to manage potential and actual aggression in a sensitive way.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent person-centred support in an innovative, flexible and responsive manner.
• Act as a Link Worker for people supported by contributing to assessment and review of support plans.
• Administer medication and support with personal care.
• Deliver manual handling requirements and active participation in person-centred activities.
