Job summary

Edinburgh College is seeking a Learning Support Advisor to join our Learning Support & Disability Services team. You will identify, assess and coordinate support for students who disclose a disability or additional support need, ensuring access to learning and success.

You will work with students, academic staff and external partners, promoting inclusive practice, delivering advice, and supporting reasonable adjustments across College campuses.

Qualifications

• Degree level or SCQF Level 9 equivalent.
• Knowledge of disability legislation relevant to FE/HE.
• Experience supporting students with diverse needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess and coordinate support for students with disabilities or additional needs.
• Collaborate with students, academic staff and external partners to enable access to learning.
• Promote inclusive practice and provide staff with advice and training.
• Support implementation of reasonable adjustments and equality opportunities across the College.
