Job summary

Imperial College London is seeking an experienced disability advisor to support disabled students and liaise with internal and external agencies. You will prepare Suggested Reasonable Adjustments Documents and conduct autism screenings when required.

The role involves advising academic and non‑academic departments on appropriate adjustments and ensuring compliant, confidential records. A degree and CPD in disability are essential.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience advising and facilitating support for disabled people.
• Evidence of CPD in the field of disability.
• Excellent IT skills and ability to maintain confidential records.
• Understanding of Equality Act and Data Protection legislation.

Responsibilities

• Advise and support disabled students and liaise with internal and external agencies.
• Prepare and issue Suggested Reasonable Adjustments Documents.
• Conduct screenings for autism where appropriate.
• Advise departments on appropriate adjustments and best practices.
