Job summary

The Chelmsford Learning Partnership invites applications for an Inclusion Base Lead at Beaulieu Park School in Chelmsford. You will establish and lead a new Inclusion Base to support pupils facing barriers to learning, including EBSA, SEND and attendance challenges.

Qualifications

• Experience working with vulnerable, disengaged or hard-to-reach young people.
• Understanding of EBSA, SEND, attendance and barriers to learning.
• Experience developing and delivering successful intervention programs.
• Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils and families.
• Confidence leading support plans and coordinating provision for individual pupils.
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with external agencies and school staff.
• Believes every child deserves the opportunity to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the school's Inclusion Base.
• Deliver structured learning programs to keep pupils engaged in education.
• Design, implement and evaluate interventions to improve attendance and outcomes.
• Lead reintegration programs for EBSA, persistent absence and reduced timetables.
• Act as Lead Professional for pupils accessing the provision.
• Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to teaching assistants and mentors.
• Build strong relationships with pupils and families to remove barriers to learning.
• Coordinate multi-agency support and review meetings.
• Monitor attendance, engagement and reintegration outcomes and contribute to improvement.
• Collaborate with subject leads to maintain access to a broad curriculum.
