Job summary

Essex County Council is seeking a SEND Inclusion Partner for a fixed-term contract, based in Chelmsford, to drive inclusive practice across schools, settings and partnerships. The role focuses on reviewing provision, EHCNA and Annual Reviews to improve outcomes for CYP with SEND.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree with QTS (or equivalent), continued professional development, and a proven track record of influencing senior leaders. Mobile across the area; driving licence required.

• Proven track record of influencing change in educational settings.
• Strong ability to build collaborative relationships with senior leaders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of delivering training.

Responsibilities

• Link Inclusion Partner for specific schools/settings/partnerships to improve practice and review EHCNA and Annual Reviews.
• Provide high quality education advice and support to deliver inclusive education for children with SEND.
• Support SEND delivery within clusters through coaching, training and development.
• Engage with schools and partners to evaluate and improve the offer for SEND.
