Compensation: £25,262 / year

Description

Permanent contract, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. The post holder will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative support as an integral member of the Inclusion Team. In particular, the post holder will provide administration to support SEND Learners at Bath College, particularly those with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and our Care experienced young people. Be responsible for the organisation and coordination of the Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) review process and for ensuring that annual reviews and all related activities are completed to the highest quality and within statutory requirements. The post holder will work closely with local authorities and the finance department to ensure that all roll lists are returned to the LA in line with the ILR returns and invoice the LA’s accordingly for the element 3 funding. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a central point of contact for students, staff & partner agencies for all initial queries regarding Inclusion, referring and signposting as appropriate.
  • To provide high-quality customer care by communicating by phone, person, email, and letter with a professional attitude.
  • Respond to all enquiries in a sensitive and appropriate manner maintaining necessary confidentiality at all times.
  • To undertake correspondence with stakeholders (Parents, carers, social workers, SEND Practitioners, Health professionals, YOS, etc.) with regard to all student matters including Disciplinary, Fit/Support for Study, Risk Assessments, etc. as required.
  • To effectively use the latest office, word processing, database, and spreadsheet systems to provide timely and accurate information as required.
  • To assist with the updating of student records held on ProMonitor and ProSolution, to ensure an efficient and effective service with an audit trail that is accurate and complete.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Qualified to at least level 2 (A level/NVQ 3 equivalent).
  • Business, Administration or Customer Service qualification.
  • 4 GCSEs (Grade C or above) including English Language and Maths or equivalent.
