Job summary

Gilmartins is seeking an experienced inbound Call Handler / Booker to join our Inbound Customer Support Centre based in Houghton Regis. This full-time, office-based role supports social housing reactive repairs, providing excellent customer care and booking engineers.

Hours are 8am–5pm, Monday to Friday, with one Saturday or Sunday per month until 6pm. Training and career progression opportunities are available in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a similar customer service/call handling role.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to multi-task to manage a demanding workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent telephone manner and administration skills.

Responsibilities

• Take inbound calls from tenants and clients (housing associations or councils).
• Use questioning to log property repair faults in the in-house system.
• Contact tenants to book appointments.
• Book engineer appointments.
