Job summary

Quantum Scholars is recruiting experienced SEND Tutors to provide personalised one-to-one support to children across West Drayton and surrounding areas. Sessions are delivered in learners' homes or suitable community settings during school hours.

As an approved Alternative Provision provider, you will work with learners with SEND including ASC, ADHD, anxiety, EBSA and other needs, building calm, supportive environments to help them rebuild confidence and re-engage with education.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
• Enhanced DBS certificate, or willingness to obtain one.
• The right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, personalised 1:1 tuition in learners' homes or community settings.
• Support learners across subjects including English, Maths and Science.
• Plan and adapt sessions around each learner's ability, interests and educational goals.
• Build confidence, independence and a positive approach to learning.
• Provide academic, emotional and pastoral support where appropriate.
