Job summary

Quantum Scholars, in partnership with Hillingdon Council, seeks experienced SEND Tutors to deliver personalised 1:1 tuition to children and young people in West Drayton and surrounding areas. Sessions are typically in learners' homes or community settings during school hours, in-person.

You will support learners with SEND across a range of needs, build confidence, adapt sessions to individual goals, and provide academic and pastoral support, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
• Previous experience as a SEND Tutor, Teacher, TA, LSA or similar.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, personalised 1:1 tuition in learners' homes or community settings.
• Support learners across subjects including English, Maths, Science and more.
• Plan and adapt sessions around each learner's ability, interests and educational goals.
• Build confidence, independence and a positive approach to learning.
• Provide academic, emotional and pastoral support where appropriate.
• Work flexibly during school hours, Monday to Friday.
