Vincere in Leeds is seeking a Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join a well‑established national litigation team. You will support senior lawyers, manage your own caseload with supervision, and handle a broad range of commercial disputes for diverse clients.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with NQ to 3 years’ PQE.
• Litigation experience preferred but not essential if you can demonstrate strong interest and transferable skills.
• Strong technical ability and attention to detail.
• Commercial, solution-driven mindset and good judgement.
• Excellent organisation and time management; able to prioritise deadlines.
• Confident communicator with a collaborative team approach.
• Comfortable working independently with appropriate escalation.

Commercial Litigation Solicitor

Location: Leeds

Salary: £45,000 to £65,000 (depending on experience)

Experience: NQ to 3 years’ PQE (or equivalent)

Our client is looking to hire a junior Commercial Litigation Solicitor into a well-established national litigation team based in Leeds. This is a great move if you want broad exposure to commercial disputes, early responsibility on files, and the support of experienced colleagues on complex, high-profile and sensitive matters.

You will work with a wide client base, including larger organisations, owner-managed businesses, public bodies, insurers and professional practices. The team handles substantial, challenging contentious work, and you will have the chance to develop strong technical foundations while building confidence in client-facing work.

You will support senior lawyers while also managing your own caseload with supervision, depending on experience. The role offers variety, responsibility and the chance to get involved in business development and profile raising activity as you progress.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting senior lawyers with their caseloads of commercial disputes
• Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision
• Drafting pleadings and correspondence and carrying out legal research and investigations
• Attending conferences, court hearings and client meetings as required
• Communicating with clients, counsel and other parties
• Supporting business development and profile raising initiatives
• Completing client and internal MI procedures
• Working to deadlines, quality measures and KPIs
