Job summary

SaccoMann in Leeds is seeking a Commercial Litigation Solicitor to handle a broad spectrum of disputes in a busy, supportive environment. The role blends hybrid working with office collaboration and real client exposure.

You will advise on contractual and property issues, breach of directors’ duties, and insurance-related matters, with mentoring for junior staff and opportunities for progression. PQE is welcome, with independence and teamwork valued in equal measure.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in Commercial Disputes.
• 1 PQE+, but NQ with pre-qualification experience will be considered.
• Some exposure to insurance litigation and policy matters preferred.
• Excellent communication skills; able to work independently and in a team.
• Proficient in case management systems and digital tools.

About the role

This position involves supporting clients across a broad spectrum of Commercial Dispute cases, including contractual issues, property disputes, breach of directors’ duties, trespass, and nuisance. You will work closely with experienced colleagues, handling cases autonomously and supporting senior team members on more complex matters. The role provides exposure to court proceedings and insurance-related disputes, underpinning your career growth within Commercial Litigation.

The ideal candidate

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in Commercial Disputes
• 1 PQE+, however, an NQ with a decent amount of pre-qualification experience in commercial litigation will be considered
• Ideally, some exposure to insurance litigation and policy matters
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Proficient in case management systems and digital tools
• Motivated to develop professionally and deliver high-quality client service
