Job summary

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company SA is seeking an Assistant to Import TDM in Ipswich. The role focuses on data handling, reporting, and liaising with overseas offices to support the Import North Med trade.

You will work closely with the Trade Manager to drive process improvements and commercial growth. The successful candidate will have strong IT skills, be highly organized, and capable of handling multiple tasks with competing deadlines.

Qualifications

• Strong IT skills with MS Office and PowerBI.
• Hones reporting accuracy and meets deadlines.
• Ability to analyse data and provide actionable insights.
• Proactive and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Support market research to aid decision making.
• Produce reports and monitor cargo movements.
• Liaise with overseas offices and prepare quotations and tenders.
• Assist Trade Development Manager as required.
• Maintain client relationships and contracts.
