Job summary

Targeted Provision seeks SEND Tutors and Teachers in the UK to deliver Maths, English, or Science instruction to disengaged and at-risk learners with SEMH/SEND needs. Roles are self-employed with flexible hours and locations (in person, hybrid, or remote).

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, and DBS clearance. Join a child-centred team focused on transforming lives and supporting vulnerable learners.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD in a trauma-informed setting.
• Fluency in teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• QTS or QTLS qualifications.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.
• Based in the UK with right to work.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children, teenagers, and young people with SEMH and SEND needs, including MLD, SLD, PMLD, and other Additional Educational Needs
• Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
• Support pupils referred by local authorities and schools with trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
• Contribute to creating a safe learning environment
