Job summary

Targeted Provision is recruiting SEND Tutors and Teachers in the UK to deliver Maths, English, or Science tuition for learners with SEMH and SEND needs. Roles include in-person, hybrid, and remote teaching on a self-employed basis, with flexible hours to fit your schedule and a strong focus on safeguarding and trauma-informed practice.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, and enhanced DBS.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH, in a trauma-informed approach.
• Familiarity with teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (QTLS).
• Enhanced DBS and two professional references are required or facilitated by the agency.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Maths, English, or Science tuition in person, online, or hybrid settings to learners with SEMH/SEND needs.
• Plan and report lessons and provide regular progress feedback to pupils and authorities when needed.
• Support local authorities and schools by delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Contribute to creating a safe learning environment with safeguarding best practices.
