Job summary

Targeted Provision is recruiting SEND Tutors and Teachers in the UK to deliver Maths, English or Science tuition for children and young people with SEMH and SEND needs. Roles include in-person, hybrid and remote teaching opportunities with flexible hours to suit your schedule.

We require at least 2 years of teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, and an Enhanced DBS. Join a child-centred, impact-driven team focused on transforming lives with supportive mentorship and community events.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD or PMLD in a trauma-informed setting.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teaching and Learning Status (QTLS) required.
• Enhanced DBS check or ability to obtain one and two professional references.
• Based in the UK with the right to work, including remote/online opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online or hybrid Maths, English or Science tuition to learners with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Plan and deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring for KS1–KS5 as appropriate.
• Prepare lessons and report on student progress with regular feedback to local authorities/schools.
• Contribute to raising education standards for vulnerable learners through supportive practice.
