Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers to support disengaged and vulnerable learners with SEMH and SEND needs. Roles include Maths, English, or Science tuition delivered in person, online, or hybrid, using a trauma-informed approach to transform lives.

You’ll work flexibly as a self-employed tutor, with part-time to full-time hours, through local authorities and schools. A UK-based candidate with QTS/QTLS and DBS is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD in trauma-informed settings.
• Qualifications: QTS or QTLS.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.
• Based in the UK with the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online / remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children and young people with SEMH and SEND needs.
• Support pupils referred by local authorities and schools with flexible, trauma-informed tutoring.
• Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Contribute to safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
