Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers to support learners with SEMH and SEND across the UK. Roles include Maths, English or Science tuition in person, online, or hybrid formats.

The position is self-employed with flexible hours to fit your schedule and local authorities may refer students. You should have at least 2 years of teaching experience in SEND contexts, QTS/QTLS, and an Enhanced DBS.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD in a holistic, trauma-informed approach.
• Familiarity with teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).
• Enhanced DBS check and 2+ professional references.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online and hybrid tuition to learners with SEMH and SEND needs.
• Support KS1–KS5 learners referred by local authorities and schools with flexible tutoring.
• Plan and report lessons; give regular progress feedback.
