Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers in the UK to transform the lives of disengaged and vulnerable learners. Roles are self-employed with flexible hours and opportunities for in-person, hybrid, or remote teaching in Maths, English or Science.

Applicants should have 2+ years of teaching, QTS/QTLS, Enhanced DBS, and the right to work in the UK. The role focuses on trauma-informed approaches and collaboration with local authorities and schools.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years teaching, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way
• Subjects: Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
• Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
• Compliance: Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references
• Location: You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote / online jobs
• Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online / remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children, teenagers, and young people with SEMH and SEND needs
• Support pupils and students, ranging from KS1 - KS5, referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
• Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
