Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers to transform the lives of disengaged and at-risk learners in the UK. The role supports Maths, English or Science for KS1–KS5, with emphasis on SEMH and SEND in flexible in-person, hybrid, or remote formats.

Applicants should have 2+ years of teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, and an Enhanced DBS. Self-employed status and collaborative SEND support underpin this role, with a focus on safeguarding and safeguarding best practices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD in a trauma-informed way.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths and/or Science.
• Enhanced DBS (we can assist) and 2+ references.
• UK-based with right to work; safeguarding knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online/remote, and hybrid Maths, English or Science tuition to children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Plan and report lessons and provide regular feedback on progress.
• Deliver trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring to support vulnerable learners.
