Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers in the UK who are passionate about transforming the lives of disengaged and vulnerable learners. Roles are available on a self-employed basis, with flexible in-person, hybrid, and remote teaching options to fit your schedule.

Ideal candidates have minimum 2 years of teaching experience, experience with SEND/SEMH, and hold QTS or QTLS. You’ll deliver Maths, English or Science tuition to KS1–KS5 learners under local authority referrals and

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD in a trauma-informed approach.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS) is required.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references are required or can be facilitated by us.
• You must have the right to work in the UK, including for remote/online work.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to learners with SEMH and SEND needs.
• Support pupils referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for SEND and SEMH learners.
