Job summary

Targeted Provision is recruiting Core Subject SEND Tutors and Teachers in the UK to support children with SEND and SEMH needs. Roles allow in-person, hybrid, or remote teaching with flexible hours to suit your schedule.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, and an Enhanced DBS. You will work with local authorities and schools to deliver trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring for vulnerable learners.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS) required.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.
• Based in the UK with right to work in the UK.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to learners with SEMH and SEND needs.
• Plan and report lessons and provide regular progress feedback.
• Work flexibly to support disengaged and vulnerable learners.
• Collaborate with local authorities and schools to coordinate tutoring and mentoring.
