Job summary

Targeted Provision in the United Kingdom is seeking Core Subject SEND Tutors and Teachers to transform the lives of disengaged and vulnerable learners with SEMH and SEND needs, delivering Maths, English, or Science tuition in person, online or hybrid.

You will work flexibly to fit your schedule, supported by a SEND Support Team, CPD, and mentoring. The role is self-employed and offers competitive pay, flexible hours, and opportunities to refer others.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH backgrounds.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• QTS/QTLS is required.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.
• UK-based, right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online / remote, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to learners with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Plan and deliver flexible, trauma‑informed tutoring and mentoring for KS1–KS5 as appropriate.
• Report on lessons and provide feedback on student progress.
• Support the mission to raise education standards for young people with SEND.
