Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers to work with children and young people with SEND and SEMH needs. Roles are self-employed and offer in-person, hybrid, and remote teaching options across the UK. You will plan lessons, provide regular feedback, and support vulnerable learners in a trauma-informed setting.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, and DBS; experience with SEND cohorts and KS1–KS5 is valued. Flexible hours available to fit your schedule.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/ PMLD in trauma-informed settings.
• Familiarity with teaching Maths, English or Science and experience with SEND objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online/remote and hybrid tuition to children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Plan and deliver lessons, report on progress, and provide regular feedback to local authorities and schools.
• Work flexibly as a self-employed tutor to support vulnerable learners and improve educational outcomes.
• Contribute to trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring within a child-centered approach.
