Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers to provide Maths, English, or Science tutoring for learners with SEND and SEMH needs across KS1–KS5. Roles include in-person, online, and hybrid teaching with flexible hours, a trauma‑informed approach, and safeguarding requirements.

We require 2+ years of teaching experience, familiarity with SEND/SEMH needs, and QTS/QTLS status. Enhanced DBS and two references are requested to participate in safer recruitment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD in trauma-informed setting.
• Familiarity with teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) required; Enhanced DBS with references will be arranged.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Plan and deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring; report on progress.
• Support pupil progress with regular feedback and progression planning.
• Contribute to raising standards for SEND learners in collaboration with local authorities and schools.
