Job summary

Targeted Provision Ltd currently seeks SEND Tutors and Teachers to deliver Maths, English, or Science tutoring to learners with SEND and SEMH needs. Roles offer in-person, hybrid, and remote teaching within the UK, designed for flexible schedules and a trauma-informed approach.

Candidates should have 2+ years of teaching experience, familiarity with SEND/SEMH, QTS/QTLS, and Enhanced DBS plus references. This is a self-employed position with opportunities across local schools and authorities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, PMLD in a trauma-informed way.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ references
• UK-based with right to work; safeguarding knowledge

Responsibilities

• Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition in person, online/remote, and hybrid.
• Plan and report lessons; give regular feedback on student progress.
• Support pupils with SEMH/SEND needs using trauma-informed approaches.
• Engage with local authorities and schools to plan flexible tutoring assignments.
