Job summary

Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is preferred.
- Willingness to learn and commit to professional development.
- Must be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
Responsibilities
- Mentor and support a pupil or small group of pupils.
- Assist the classroom teacher during lessons.
- Report on pupil progress and liaise with staff.
- Supervise pupils during non-classroom times.
- Assist with lesson planning and classroom prep.
- Set work and mark when appropriate.
- Build positive relationships with pupils.
Skills
Strong basic education (A-level)
GCSE Grade C in English Language and Mathematics
Experience with SEMH pupils
Behaviour management techniques
IT skills
Education
GCSE Grade C or equivalent
