Job summary

Change Grow Live in the West Midlands region seeks a Recovery Coordinator (sessional) to support service users through entry, treatment and recovery journeys. You will work with probation partners to ensure timely access to interventions while promoting recovery, resilience and social reintegration.

The role requires understanding of substance misuse, group facilitation skills, and excellent communication. DBS and MOJ vetting are required; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience in similar field.
• Experience working with groups/pods and managing group dynamics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with good IT skills.
• Proactive, able to work on own initiative with strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Support service users from entry through treatment/recovery journey.
• Provide screening, assessment, recovery planning and referrals.
• Reduce drug/alcohol-related harm and promote involvement of carers and community.
• Deliver structured content within group settings and evaluate progress with co-facilitators.
