Job summary

Sanctuary Supported Living in Lowestoft is seeking a Project Worker to join our homelessness service at Trafalgar House. You will support individuals to build independence, assess needs, and update plans while acting as the first point of contact for queries.

Join a compassionate team focused on wellbeing, education and employment, with safeguarding and pre-employment checks. Right to work in the UK required; sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults who have experienced homelessness.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
• Strong organisational skills with good literacy and numeracy.
• Proficient technology/IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar).

Responsibilities

• Support customers who have experienced homelessness to build independence and reach their potential.
• Assess needs and update support plans.
• Act as the first point of contact for customer queries.
• Build positive relationships that respect choice, privacy and dignity.
• Work with external partners to boost confidence, health and wellbeing, and encourage education and employment.
