Job summary

Sanctuary Supported Living is looking to recruit a Project Worker for Trafalgar House in Lowestoft to assist people experiencing homelessness. The role is days as and when required, with a salary of £13.87 per hour and benefits that support personal and professional growth.

You will join a compassionate team, helping clients build independence, assess needs, and coordinate with partners to improve wellbeing and opportunities. This not-for-profit organisation reinvests in staff and services.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults who have experienced homelessness.
• Positive, flexible and enthusiastic approach.
• Able to work well in a team and independently.
• Strong organisational skills with good literacy and numeracy.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
• Proficient technology/IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar).

Responsibilities

• Support customers who have experienced homelessness to build independence and reach their potential.
• Assess needs and update support plans.
• Act as the first point of contact for customer queries.
• Build positive relationships that respect choice, privacy and dignity.
• Work with external partners to boost confidence, health and wellbeing, and encourage education and employment.
