Job summary

Sanctuary Supported Living is seeking a dedicated Project Worker to join our homelessness service at Hastings. You will support people experiencing homelessness, assess needs, and act as the first point of contact for queries while building respectful relationships with clients and external partners.

The role emphasizes independence, dignity, and person-centred planning, with opportunities for training and development within a compassionate, not-for-profit environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults who have experienced homelessness.
• Positive, flexible and enthusiastic approach.
• Able to work well in a team and independently.
• Strong organisational skills with good literacy and numeracy.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
• Proficient technology/IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar).

Responsibilities

• Support customers who have experienced homelessness to build independence and reach their potential.
• Assess needs and update support plans.
• Act as the first point of contact for customer queries.
• Build positive relationships that respect choice, privacy and dignity.
• Work with external partners to boost confidence, health and wellbeing, and encourage education and employment.
