SENse Learning seeks Learning Support Assistants to deliver one-to-one mentoring and learning support for young people with SEND. Roles involve in-home, school, and community sessions with creative, interest-based activities and a child-centered approach.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of relevant experience, an Enhanced DBS, and the ability to work flexibly across UK locations. This self-employed mentor role emphasizes meaningful, impactful support and safeguarding best practices.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience with children or young people with complex additional needs.
• Based in the UK with the right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one.
• SEND/SMH/education support background is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one mentoring and learning support in homes, schools, and community settings.
• Deliver creative, interest-based activities to engage learners.
• Support development of life skills, confidence and independence.
• Use trauma-informed approaches and flexible strategies for diverse needs.
