SENse Learning is seeking passionate Learning Support Assistants to provide one-to-one mentoring and learning support for young people with SEND across the UK. You will deliver holistic, creative sessions in homes, communities, or schools, while working under a self-employed contract and choosing referrals that fit your schedule.

Applicants should have 2+ years of relevant experience, safeguarding knowledge, Enhanced DBS, and be based in the UK with the right to work.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience working with children or young people with complex needs (ASC, ADHD, SEMH, etc.)
• Based in the UK with right to work; DBS enhancement and references required
• Ability to deliver holistic 1:1 learning support and creative, student-centered activities
• Commitment to safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment
• Self-employed contract terms and ability to manage referrals and sessions

Responsabilités

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people facing challenges
• Provide 1:1 support in homes and community settings with creative activities
• Support development of life skills, confidence, and independence
• Use trauma-informed approaches and flexible strategies for diverse needs
• Share progress updates with the student’s team and adapt support as needed
