Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking a Learning Support Assistant in Luton to work one-to-one with SEND learners across settings. The role involves delivering creative, student-centred sessions and building strong relationships to support engagement and progress.

Roles are self-employed with flexible hours, allowing sessions in homes, schools, and community venues. DBS and references are required; remote/online options may apply where appropriate.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience working with children or young people with complex needs (e.g. ASC, ADHD, SEMH).
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support in homes and community settings, delivering creative activities.
• Support development of life skills, confidence and independence.
• Use trauma-informed approaches and flexible strategies to support a wide range of needs.
• Offer feedback and reflections to track progress and adapt support.
