Justteachers Ltd is recruiting a Learning & Behaviour Mentor to join a vibrant specialist school in the Keighley area on a long-term basis. The full-time post starts in September 2026, with shortlisting currently taking place.

The role focuses on building positive relationships, emotional regulation and re-engaging pupils with their education, through 1:1 and small-group mentoring, and close collaboration with teaching and pastoral staff.

Qualifications

• Mentoring, pastoral or behavioural support experience.
• Experience with children or young people with behavioural or additional needs.
• Strong knowledge of behaviour management strategies and relationship-based approaches.
• Two education or school-based references.

Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 and small-group mentoring to support learning and positive behaviour.
• Supporting pupils with emotional regulation, self-esteem and classroom engagement.
• Working collaboratively with teaching and pastoral staff to implement behaviour and support plans.
