Job summary

Justteachers Ltd is hiring a Learning & Behaviour Mentor for a specialist school in the Bolton area on a long-term basis. The role begins in September 2026, with shortlisting currently taking place.

The role focuses on 1:1 and small-group mentoring to support learning and positive behaviour, with strong emphasis on emotional regulation and re-engagement with education. You will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to implement behaviour plans and support pupil progress.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications or experience in mentoring, pastoral or behavioural support.
• Proven experience supporting children or young people with behavioural or additional needs.
• Strong knowledge of behaviour management strategies and relationship-based approaches.
• Two education or school-based references.
