Job summary

Education First Recruitment in Croydon is seeking an experienced Behaviour Mentor to support students in a specialist SEN college from September on a long‑term basis. You will provide 1:1 and small‑group support, work with students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and challenging behaviour, and collaborate with teachers to implement individual strategies.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience working with children or young people, a calm and resilient approach, excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Support KS3, KS4 and KS5 students with SEN and additional needs.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support both inside and outside the classroom.
• Work with students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and challenging behaviour.
• Support students academically and pastorally.
• Work closely with teachers and the wider SEN team.
• Help implement individual behaviour and learning strategies.
