Job summary

Education First in Croydon is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to support KS3, KS4 and KS5 pupils with SEN needs (ASD, ADHD, SEMH) from September on a long-term basis. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation, and work closely with teachers and the SEN team to help students overcome barriers to learning.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting SEN learners or similar roles.
• Experience with ASD, ADHD or SEMH is desirable.
• Ability to manage behaviours and provide emotional support.

Responsibilities

• Support KS3, KS4 and KS5 students with SEN and additional needs.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group academic and pastoral support.
• Help students develop positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
• Work with teachers and the SEN team to implement strategies.
• Build trusting relationships and assist with engagement and attendance.
