Walsingham Support in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Area Manager to provide strong, values-led leadership across a number of learning disability services and supported living operations. You will lead a team of Supported Living Managers, ensuring high standards of care, compliance, and continuous improvement across services.

The role requires resilience, compassion and strategic thinking to deliver person-centred support, develop staff, manage budgets and drive service

Qualifications

• Senior management experience in social care or similar.
• Proven ability to lead managers and teams.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements in social care.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Experience analyzing data to inform decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of service managers and care staff to deliver outstanding care.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards including CQC.
• Monitor and improve service quality through audits and reviews.
• Develop strategic plans to improve service delivery and achieve objectives.
• Foster relationships with people supported, families, and stakeholders.
• Manage budgets to ensure financial sustainability and efficiency.
• Identify growth opportunities within the region.
• Provide training and development for staff.
