Job summary

Spinwell Ltd is recruiting for a Content Designer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector in Hackney. You will be responsible for creating, evaluating, and reviewing content across the user journey, operating at a level equivalent to Civil Service HEO/SEO.

We are seeking someone who designs with data, prototypes to persuade, builds bridges with government departments, champions style guides, and thrives in an Agile environment with fast iteration and user-centered decisions.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional Content Designer experience.
• Experience in UK Public Sector (Local or Central Government).
• Significant experience working in Agile multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design with Data: use evidence, user research, and performance data to inform content decisions.
• Prototype to Persuade: from paper sketches to digital prototypes to visualize content and justify decisions.
• Build Bridges: collaborate across government departments to influence stakeholders and uphold user voice.
• Standard Bearer: contribute to and champion style guides and content patterns for consistency.
• Iterate Constantly: operate in a fast-paced Agile environment and adapt based on user needs.
