Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking a high-calibre Qualified Primary Teacher (QTS) for an immediate-start, long-term contract at a welcoming primary school in Borehamwood. You will design structured lessons, adapt to diverse learning needs, and foster a love of learning while maintaining high standards and inclusive practice.

The role requires QTS, DBS Update Service, and a collaborative approach with staff, parents, and SEN teams to support SEND and EAL pupils.

Qualifications

• Must hold QTS and DBS Update Service registration.
• Experience in primary education and inclusive practice.

Responsibilities

• Adapted Curriculum Planning: tailored lessons aligned with National Curriculum.
• Core Subject Mastery: develop maths, reading, phonics using interactive tools.
• Classroom Team Guidance: mentor teaching assistants for an organized learning space.
• Progress Tracking: document pupil milestones and growth.
• Multidisciplinary Liaison: collaborate with SENCO and school leaders to support SEND/EAL pupils.
• Parental Partnerships: communicate with parents to strengthen home-school links.
