Job summary

Randstad is recruiting a Qualified Primary Teacher (QTS) for an immediate-start, long-term contract in Hemel Hempstead. You will cover Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, delivering differentiated lessons and leading classroom support to create an inclusive, high-achieving environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with UK primary classroom experience.
• Strong grasp of primary curriculum expectations and adaptive teaching methods.
• Calm, compassionate approach to maintain an attentive, supportive classroom.

Responsibilities

• Adapted Curriculum Delivery: differentiate lessons aligned with National Curriculum.
• Core Subject Mastery: use interactive tools, maths strategies, phonics to raise outcomes.
• Classroom Team Leadership: mentor and manage Teaching Assistants for a structured learning space.
• Progress Assessment & Tracking: implement assessment frameworks to monitor milestones.
• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: work with SENCO, KS coordinators and leaders to support SEND/EAL.
• Parental Partnerships: communicate with parents to strengthen home–school links.
