Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking a Qualified Primary Teacher (QTS) for an immediate-start, long-term position in Stevenage. The role spans KS1/KS2, delivering differentiated lessons within a supportive primary school environment focused on pupil growth and well-being.

You will design differentiated plans, manage classroom support staff, and foster a warm, inclusive atmosphere where every child prospers.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• UK primary classroom experience preferred.
• Enhanced DBS registered with Update Service or willing to apply.

Responsibilities

• Adapt differentiated, high-impact lesson plans aligned to the National Curriculum.
• Incorporate core subjects, maths, and phonics into daily lessons.
• Lead and coordinate with Teaching Assistants to keep a safe, productive classroom.
• Implement formative and summative assessments to track pupil progress.
• Collaborate with SENCO and SLT to support SEND and EAL pupils.
• Maintain clear, constructive communication with parents and carers.
