Job summary

University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for Pathway Support to assist with patient scheduling and reception duties within the Imaging Business Unit. The role supports services across Royal Derby Hospital, Queens Hospital Burton and seven community sites.

Key duties include reception and clerical support for scheduling diagnostic tests (X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, bone density).

Qualifications

• Education to English Language and Mathematics at GCSE level.
• Experience in busy customer-facing or care environment or call handling and reception is desirable.
• Proficient in IT systems and appointment systems; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Reception duties and clerical support for scheduling patients.
• Liaise with colleagues and patients; multi-task and prioritize under pressure.
• Work flexibly across UHDB sites and teams.
