Job summary

University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Imaging Information Systems Radiographer (Band 6) for a part-time role (22.5 hours per week). The post supports PACS/RIS and related imaging information systems across UHDB sites.

The role involves supervising the imaging systems team, training staff, and contributing to future IT projects within Radiology. Applicants should hold DCR/BSc in Radiography, be HCPC-registered, and show CPD evidence.

Qualifications

• DCR or BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent recognised qualification).
• Registration to HCPC and evidence of CPD.
• Significant experience with Radiology Information Systems and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Imaging Information Systems Management team with maintenance, development and integration of all systems across UHDB sites.
• Occasional out-of-hours support to ensure 24x7 availability of PACS/RIS systems.
• Lead by example in accurate and efficient use of imaging information systems.
• Train and support imaging staff and clerical/support teams on RIS/PACS and related systems.
• Audit data quality and participate in system upgrades and user acceptance testing.
