Job Title

Business Analyst Manager

Location

Barrow-in-Furness – hybrid and flexible working arrangements available.

Salary

From £56,000 depending on skills & experience.

What you’ll be doing
  • Formally defining the scope and high‑level requirements for project deliverables in both Waterfall and Agile environments.
  • Working across multiple stakeholders to define requirements for large to complex project change, utilising appropriate methods, tools and techniques.
  • Investigating operational requirements, problems and opportunities, seeking effective business solutions through improvements in automated and non‑automated components of new or changed processes, ensuring alignment with the strategic roadmap and driving joint business objectives across functional areas.
  • Specifying requirements for environment, data, resources and tools, reviewing and testing results and modifying tests as necessary.
  • Managing issues, corrective actions, lessons learned and dissemination of relevant information.
  • Line‑managing Business Analysts assigned to the same Programme across multiple Product Groups.
Your skills and experiences
  • BCS Diploma in Business Analysis and equivalent experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams or varying complexity simultaneously.
  • Good business acumen, stakeholder management experience with Senior Management.
  • Line management and team development experience.

The Product Fulfilment team

One of four Product Groups within the IM<T> function, responsible for providing the IT capabilities required by core delivery functions such as Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Project Delivery. This role offers exposure to multiple business areas and supports the strategic focus of delivering submarines. Relocation support packages are available subject to eligibility criteria.
