Job summary

National Highways is seeking a Lead Identity Manager to drive Identity and Access Management across the organisation, aligning governance, privileged access, and authentication services with business goals.

The role requires leading Identity Governance and Assurance, Vetting Services and JML, enforcing policies, and delivering operational leadership. It is a hybrid role with UK-wide offices and some travel.

Qualifications

• Experience leading security or technology functions.
• Proven track record delivering security or technology services.
• Experience building and leading technology teams.
• Experience developing policies, strategies and processes.
• Experience managing teams using IT service tools such as ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Lead Identity and Access Management functions and strategic direction.
• Oversee identity lifecycle management, access governance, privileged access, and authentication.
• Lead governance, vetting services, and JML accounts.
• Enforce and improve security policies, standards, and processes.
• Provide operational leadership and lifecycle management for identity services.
• Deliver regular reporting of identity threats, risks and controls.
