Job summary

National Highways is recruiting for an Identity Analyst to protect our IT assets by ensuring the right identities and access are maintained across systems. The role focuses on identity assurance, privileged access management and compliance monitoring to keep controls secure and auditable.

You will collaborate with external suppliers to ensure identity services meet our technical and performance expectations, using data insights to drive improvement and mitigate unauthorised access risks.

Qualifications

• Experience working in security or technical service teams.
• Knowledge or experience with supplier management.
• Familiarity with first and/or second-line support of operational services and use of support tools such as ServiceNow.
• Ability to use applications to produce reports and extract data; practical experience with MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Provision, modify, and deprovision user accounts and access rights to ensure only valid identities are active.
• Translate organisational requirements into enforceable technical controls and ensure identity lifecycle processes remain compliant and auditable.
• Monitor and analyse identity-related security risks using data insights to detect anomalies and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide vetting services and compliance checks for privileged users to protect sensitive systems and data from unauthorised access.
• Implement and enforce identity policies and standards to ensure access is compliant and meets business expectations.
