Job summary

National Highways is enhancing its Digital Services function by recruiting Identity Analysts to protect IT assets and ensure proper access controls across the organisation. The role focuses on identity assurance, privileged access management, and compliance monitoring to align with policies and standards.

The position is hybrid, with two days per week in the office and flexibility to be based at any National Highways office across the UK, including travel for team meetings.

Qualifications

• Experience in a security or technical service team.
• Knowledge of supplier management.
• Familiarity with first/second-line support and ServiceNow.
• Ability to produce reports and extract data using MS Office.
• Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Provisioning, modifying, and deprovisioning user accounts and access rights to ensure only valid identities are active.
• Implement identity policies and standards by translating organisational requirements into enforceable technical controls, ensuring all identity lifecycle processes remain compliant and auditable.
• Monitor and analyse identity security risks using data insights, access patterns, and audit findings.
• Provide vetting services and compliance checks for privileged users to protect sensitive systems and data from unauthorised access.
• Implement and enforce identity policies and standards to ensure that access is compliant and meets business expectations.
