Job summary

National Highways is recruiting an Identity Analyst to protect our IT assets by ensuring the right people have the right access at the right time. You will specialise in identity assurance, privileged access management and compliance monitoring, aligning with policies and standards.

This hybrid role requires two days per week in the office and may be based at any National Highways location in the UK, with some travel. SC clearance may be required before starting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a security or technical service team providing fulfilment and support.
• Experience or knowledge of supplier management.
• Familiarity with 1st/2nd line support of operational services and ServiceNow.
• Ability to create reports and extract data using MS Office.
• Good communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provisioning, modifying, and deprovisioning user accounts and access rights to ensure only valid identities are active.
• Translate organisational requirements into enforceable identity controls to keep lifecycle processes compliant and auditable.
• Monitor identity-related security risks using data insights, access patterns, audit findings, and behavioural indicators to detect anomalies and recommend actions.
• Provide vetting services and compliance checks for privileged users to protect sensitive systems and data from unauthorised access.
• Implement and enforce identity policies and standards to ensure compliant access and meet business expectations.
