Job summary

National Highways is recruiting an Identity Analyst to protect IT assets by ensuring the right people have the right access at the right time. You will provide specialist expertise across identity assurance, privileged access management and compliance monitoring to keep identity controls secure and auditable.

This hybrid role requires two days per week in the office, with travel to team meetings across the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in security or technical service delivery.
• Knowledge of supplier management is preferred.
• Familiarity with first/second line support and support tools like ServiceNow.
• Ability to generate reports from applications and data using MS Office.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provisioning, modifying, and deprovisioning user accounts and access rights to ensure only valid identities are active
• Implement identity policies and standards by translating organisational requirements into enforceable technical controls, ensuring all identity lifecycle processes remain compliant and auditable.
• Monitor and analyse identity related security risks, using data insights, access patterns, audit findings, and behavioural indicators to detect anomalies and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide vetting services and compliance checks for privileged users to protect sensitive systems and data from unauthorised access.
• Implement and enforce identity policies and standards to ensure that access is compliant and meets business expectations.
